Young Worker Register (Adolescent workers, 14–18 years)

Kept separate from the general Employee Register because it must show the specific safeguards the Child and Adolescent Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986 requires for adolescent workers — age proof, guardian consent, hazardous-process/night-work exclusion, and working-hour limits.

No worker below 14 years may be employed in any establishment. Adolescents (14–18 years) may only be engaged in non-hazardous processes, may not work between 7 PM and 8 AM, and may not work more than the daily/weekly hour limits applicable to adult workers under the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020.
